Return to Spices & Dips

(continued from Spices and Dips)

barrie moving companies.

Dips can be used in so many ways that it's hard to know where to start. You can make marvelous dipping sauces with just sour cream or yogurt. You can make specialty breads in your breadmaker with no problems. How about making a zesty marinade for tonight's Bar-B-Que. Do you like bread pork or lamb chops? Mix a little dip in the bread crumbs for a taste that doesn't come in a box. Make a salad that sits up and sings flavor.

At your next party (even if it's just the two of you watching TV) mix up some dip with sour cream serve with your favorite chips and you can never tell a conversation might just happen.

Most breadmakers come with a pause built in to add extra ingredients. Next time it stops add a couple of tablespoons full of your favorite dip to the dough. I like Cheddar and Onion it makes the most delicious sandwiches.

Bar-B-Que season is whenever if you rub a little dip on your best ribs or chicken. For best results rub some on the night before and store in a plastic bag in the fridge over night. Add a little more fresh dip just before your fire up the Barby.

Next time you want chops baked up don't use that stuff in a box. Mix some bread crumbs and dip with a little flower. Dredge you chops in a beaten egg. Coat with the crumb mix and fry in a little olive oil until tender. Try it you'll like it.

Try your next Caesar Salad with some Garlic and Chive dip mixed in. Or a Greek salad with Roasted Garlic and Herb. Use your imagination and the taste buds will thank you. No more boring salad!!!

Your next stir fry will get rave reviews if you add a little Oriental ginger to the mix just before serving.

DIP ON!
